National Service Scheme (NSS)

The National Service Scheme (N.S.S.) unit of Gorakshnath Govt. Sanskrit college Nahan is working under the esteemed guidance of Dr.Suresh Sharma Bhardwaj, programme officers, G.G.S.C. Nahan. This wing encourages students to take up their social responsibility in an efficient way. Sole aim of this wing is to inculcate the spirit of service among college students to help individuals, groups and communities. Our volunteers take part in various activities, they work in villages, slums and voluntary agencies to complete 120 hours of regular activities during an academic year.

The NSS wing of our institution has been rigorously conducting and participating in the extension activities from their inception to inculcate the virtues of social responsibility among the students fraternity. They have been encouraged to participate in various activities conducted by the institution and other government and non-government organizations.
